A manufacturer of low-emissivity secondary glazing inserts needed a way to give their business development team fast, credible, site-specific savings estimates without requiring an energy model for every prospect. We designed and built a custom Excel-based hourly building physics calculation engine, validated against EnergyPlus, that runs a full year of energy and cost savings calculations for any U.S. climate zone in seconds. 

The tool is now in the hands of their technical sales team, turning every customer conversation from a general product pitch into a specific, defensible savings projection for that building, in that city, at that utility rate.
